General Return and Refund Policy

  1. No Returns or Refunds for System Builds, Laptops, and Software
    • Due to the specialized nature of our products, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for any system builds, including pre-built systems, custom builds, laptops, and any software purchases.
    • Once an order has been processed, assembled, and dispatched, it is considered final and non-refundable. This policy includes all components used in the build, such as CPUs, GPUs, RAM, and storage devices.
    • Software purchases, including but not limited to operating systems, applications, and digital downloads, are also non-refundable once the product key or download link has been issued.
  2. Extended Warranty and Service Plans
    • Purchases of extended warranties and service plans are non-refundable once ordered. These plans provide additional coverage and peace of mind beyond the standard warranty period.
  3. Defective Products
    • If you believe your product is defective, please contact our customer service team within 7 days of receiving your order. We will provide troubleshooting assistance and determine if a return or exchange is necessary.
    • In cases where a defect is confirmed, we will offer repair or replacement services as appropriate. This may include sending the product back to the manufacturer for repair or providing a replacement unit.
    • Please note that evidence of the defect, such as photographs or videos, may be required to process your claim.
  4. Non-System Products
    • For non-system products (e.g., accessories, peripherals), we accept returns within 7 days of the purchase date, provided the items are in their original condition, unopened, and in the original packaging. Once the box is opened, returns and refunds are not allowed.
    • Examples of non-system products include keyboards, mice, monitors, and cables.
    • A restocking fee may apply for returned items that are not defective. This fee covers the cost of inspecting and restocking the item.
  5. Shipping and Handling Fees
    • Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part.
    • In cases where the return is due to a defect or error on our part, we will provide a prepaid shipping label for the return.
  6. How to Initiate a Return
    • To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at support@galapower.com.au with your order number, invoice number, and a detailed description of the issue.
    • We will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed instructions on how to return the item.
    • The RMA number must be clearly marked on the return package. Items returned without an RMA number will not be accepted.
  7. Processing Time
    • Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item and notify you of the status of your refund or exchange. Please allow up to 10 business days for processing.
    • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed using the original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund.

Under ACL, consumers have a right to request a repair, replacement, or refund if a product fails to meet consumer guarantees.
